Chapter two A horrible night for Ring


The dancing group of the school was going to hold a show in the Lunar New Year. Crystina arranged for the show. She trusted Ring that she could perform it very well, so that asked her to be the main dancer. The main male dancer was Ring’s classmate named Diaman.

‘Now, listen! Let’s make a fantastic title to the show, class.’ announced Crystina, ‘What’s your idea, Lacy?’ ‘I don’t know, Miss.’ ‘And you, Goldy?’ ‘Hmm… the show talks about Diaman, who is an artist, fell in love with his classmate, Ring. The title should be “Artist’s Love”!’

‘Ha-ha!’ The class laughed. ‘The title is not well done. Could you give us some ideas, Ring?’ asked Crystina. ‘Rhythm through Art.’ answered Ring.

The title ‘Rhythm through Art’ was approved at last. The class began to practise and rehearse. Ring practised every night in the school even her classmates had left. One day, Crystina advised Ring, ‘You must take care of yourself in the night. Do go home earlier.’ ‘Okay, I’ll. Thanks Miss.’

It was eleven at night. Ring still practising. The school was dark and there was nobody. Ring was a little bit afraid, so she decided to go home. ‘Kok, kok…’ There was some footstep sound coming. Ring knew that it was not the sound of Crystina, so that she ran faster.

‘Stop, Ring!’ ‘Who?!’ Ring turned and saw Diaman. ‘Don’t be afraid,’ said Diaman, ‘I come to practise with you.’

They danced together. Suddenly Diaman touched Ring’s chest carelessly. ‘Hey!’ Ring was so frightened and moved away from him. ‘Sorry, Ring…’ said Diaman. Ring stared him angrily and said nothing. She didn’t continue to dance. Diaman caught Ring’s hand and tried to dance with her again. Ring still staring him. ‘What happened to me?!’ Diaman got mad and kissed Ring without permission. ‘Help!’ Ring shouted and slapped Diaman on the face.

‘Don’t you like me, Ring?’ ‘I hate you!’ ‘Why?!Why?! I loved you since we were chosen to be the main dancers. I don’t know why you hate me like this!’ ‘Anyway, I don’t like you touching any parts of my body. I loved another person.’ said Ring. ‘Who? Who?!’ Diaman was angry. ‘I can’t tell you! But I liked her since the first time we met!’

‘Her?! You loved a girl?!’ Diaman couldn’t believe that and raped Ring. Ring spent a horrible and sad night…
