scottmartinlocke - Less than a minute ago
So one by one the renown Captain led his crew thru the portal of the dimensional rift.
They explored this new world where deep space was ,is,light;not dark and still the stars outshined the light.
They entered without fear of executing an exit for return to their own world.
Captain Locke called out over the broadband "Peace said the door would be open and we must believe in the architect and author of Nature itself."
"Peace said that the human mind would see thru the veil of illusion."
Well sure enough it was true.
The Darkness from the otherside could not be seen thru the light of the new world.
Locke thought and thought some more.
Then as lightning it came to him.
HE TURNED HIS FIGHTER AND SOARED RIGHT THRU THE MAGNETIC FIELD BELIEVING IT
WOULD BE OPEN AS HE WAS TOLD.
SURE ENOUGH IT WAS TRUE.
IN A FLASH OF HYDROGEN AND PROTON FUEL HE SOARED THRU AND ONE BY ONE HIS FAITHFUL CREW FOLLOWED.
lOCKE CALLED OUT OVER THE BROADBAND
"It is true that whoever knocks at the door it will be open."
So the legend of the rift and Captain Locke spread through-out the universe.
He called out to his beloved Ali'en "my true dear believe and follow me."
The rag tag team of fighter pilots followed Locke to the L4 station outpost on the far side of the moon for a brief check in and then soared and roared home to the L1 station Et_Cetera
in low Earth orbit; and Integrity and Tangible already knew from Korporate and Trooper Lynsday radioing ahead.
Now close your eyes
and look at what
i can show you.
You can clearly see
from your mind's eye
the dream is real
and all that there is
"is"
and all that will be
"will be"
so keep the dream alive
AND STAY TUNED FOR MORE OF THE DEEP SPACE ADVENTURES OF LOCKE AND PEELE
AS WE BRING IT TO YOU LIVE AND UN-INTERRUPTED
EXCE PT FOR THE TIME DELAY FROM SPACE
AND TRY NOT TO AGE TOO QUICKLY.

Yeah, I agree. When you start writing for some faceless inner critic, you just wind up going through the motions.
Don't worry about replying to my comments right away or anything, I know how it goes. Good luck with the filming.
And yeah, banned stuff is cool. As I understand it, Showtime hired Miike to make a horror movie, the only restriction being a time limit. When he came out with it, Showtime backed off, but released it on DVD. The creator of the show loved it though, and honestly, I can't really blame Showtime. I'm against censorship and all, but the film is disturbing to the point of nearly being unwatchable at times. Besides, when that happens you know you're making waves.
I look forward to hearing your reaction to it though. :D

I'm definitely going to check it out as soon as I can, and thanks for the luck. I think the harshest critic we can face is ourselves, because it can cause complete destruction of a perfectly good story in some cases.

Hey Laurie,
Just wanted to mention that I read your comment to Dustin about how the horror genre is stagnated, because the people creating it stick to what's safe. First, I wanted to say that that's cool to hear. I'm writing a horror novel that I found myself unconsciously scaling back. I realized suddenly that it was because I was worried about what other people would think, that I wasn't writing it for myself anymore. Of course I'm going at it with renewed fury now, but it's cool to hear that other people understand that need to push the boundaries.
Also, I wanted to recommend Imprint, by Takashi Miike. It was a Masters of Horror episode that was banned from Showtime.

More power to you-as writers we need to remember that whilst we are writing for an audience, it's ours first and foremost. When we stop writing for ourselves, it all becomes a bit commercial. Thank you very much. Thank you also for your recent praise on some of my work, I totally appreciate it and would've got back to it sooner but I'm in the middle of filming at the moment and it's all a bit hectic!
And I'll check that out. Banned stuff is the best, hah.

Yep, and you'd think because Umbrella had the vaccine in the second movie that they'd just develop more of it and give it out to everyone. It'd be the perfect way to rid themselves of any suspicion that they had anything to do with the t-virus if they gave out free vaccines to everyone.
I hope they already have a release date for Degeneration soon, if they don't have one set already.

I don't know myself, but it looks damn good. I thought Nemesis was really cheesy in Extinction though.

Also Leon is the best Resi character ever. Have you seen the teaser for the CGI movie Degeneration yet? It appears that he's featured in that. But if the next Resi is set in Tokyo like the end of Extinction promised, then I'll be a happy man.

He kicked ass, indeed. But the sucky thing is in Resident Evil is that you know without a doubt the second someone gets bitten, that's it.

BLOODLINE PT. 1, CHAPTER 3-LIVE TO KILL
-----------------------------
BLOODLINE CHAPTER 3-LIVE TO KILL
Jin pushed Alyssa out of the way and stood in front of the shattered window. When the apparent behemoth behind the door finally burst through; it would be heading straight for him, punching clean through the broken windowpane and slamming into him like a wrecking ball. There wouldn't be anything left!
"What the hell!? Get out of the way, what are you, stupid?"
Jin didn't even acknowledge her. He seemed to smirk, but she couldn't see much from the angle she was looking at him from, and she wasn't too keen on getting any closer at the moment. Darrel rolled over and moaned; Alyssa made sure he was out of the way before returning her gaze to Jin.
Whatever it was on the other side of the door finally broke through, the door bursting into splinters, the frame around it collapsing. She didn't know what she was expecting, but what they got certainly wasn't it. It was just a normal guy. He was even a little short, weedy looking. He wore spectacles. The little guy had done that?!
"What. The. Fuck" Was all she could think of to say, frozen to the spot. With an animalistic roar, the little guy charged straight at Jin, hopping clean through the shattered window without breaking his stride.
Jin simply waited with his arms spread to his sides. When the little bull charged into him he wouldn't even go down fighting. It was all over, it had to be.
There was the slightest of movements from above. Inches away from Jin, the tiny man stopped, staring blankly, vacantly, at the mystery man. There was a sound from above, a 'click', something sliding back into place. The shadows on the overlapping rooftop shifted slightly.
His spectacles hit the ground in two different parts, cut cleanly in half. Still he stood there, unmoving. Jin prodded his forehead with a single finger, and laughed as he toppled over.
"Silly little bloodrat. Charging at me like that... You think I'd just let you take me down?"
Again, Alyssa had no idea what had just happened. It was tonight's theme apparently. Without taking her eyes off of Jin, she extended a hand to Darrel, who was now squirming by her side, pulling him up.
"You OK?" She asked, her voice shaky as his body.
"Apart from the fact that I just saw some poor, helpless woman get slaughtered by an egotistical maniac, yeah, I guess" Darrel was pale as the moon above. It had shocked him to his core.
"Koto! You ready to get this party started?!" Jin yelled.
"As you say, Jin-Rou, I am ready. Wh...More >>
