I’ve Learned
I’ve learned:
That no matter how badly we want or need things to stay the same, they always change
That letting people get close can sometimes lead to pain, but can also lead to love
That being true to myself is more important that what other people think
That just because someone says I am wrong, does not make them right
That being “normal” is not as fun as being unique
That I would rather express myself honestly and have someone angry at me, then to be dishonest and be angry with myself
That sometimes life brings pain, but it only makes me stronger
That sometimes friendships end, even when you don’t want them to
That you don’t always have to go looking for love, sometimes it finds you
That just because someone does not agree with my beliefs/opinions/ide as, does not mean I have to change them
That your whole life can change, because of one person
That both hate and love are not words to be taken lightly
That it doesn’t matter what I do with my friends, as long as we are together
That having friends that can make you laugh, no matter the situation, are priceless
That I still have a lot to learn
